Can Wormeries compost pet poo?

The simple answer is yes, but be careful. Waste and bedding from most herbivores e.g. rabbits, hamsters, gerbils etc. is fine.

However we do not advise adding waste from meat eaters such as cats and dogs which is more unpleasant and carries a risk of the toxocara virus. We offer a purpose-made Pet Poo Wormery which is designed to deal with that sort of waste.
